Schools

Dance sessions provide the perfect opportunity for integrating physical and creative activity with other areas of the curriculum. Research shows that movement and exercise can spark the growth of new brain cells and facilitate learning. Listening and responding to directions, offer suggestions, explore and share ideas and move in a shared space with others are opportunities for learning and developing social skills.

Sessions are especially adapted to accomodate all needs. Children are able to move in their own individual way according to each one’s imagination, ability and experience.Creative movement gives children the opportunity to move in new ways and to help them to learn that there can be more than one solution to a question, problem or task.

We work regularly with schools across the three counties and offer projects that have been specifically devised to respond to the curriculum and develop the skills of the children. Our projects explore various themes and we are also able to respond to specific requests from schools. We use Creative Dance to encourage children to use their imagination, knowledge and ideas to create their own dances.
